One of Florida's "undiscovered" resorts, Plantation Golf Resort & Spa, can be found along a secluded corner of the Gulf Coast. Nearly every square foot of the 232-acre resort contains some form of recreational activity - 27 holes of golf, two lighted tennis courts, heated outdoor pool, volleyball, shuffleboard, and croquet. The hotel restaurant offers a daily a la carte breakfast, lunch, and dinner. For lighter fare, guests can try the Library Bar, the 19th Hole Grill, or the poolside Bar & Grill. Off-property activities include scuba diving, snorkeling, fishing, and boating along the Crystal River or on the Gulf of Mexico. The Crystal River has a year-round temperature of 72 degrees and is home to the largest concentration of manatees remaining in Florida. With all this and more, it's no wonder why many golfers will use this as a base of operations to play here as well as other great courses in the area.
