PLANTATION GOLF RESORT & SPACRYSTAL RIVER, FL One of Florida's "undiscovered" resorts, Plantation Golf Resort & Spa, can be found along a secluded corner of the Gulf Coast. Nearly every square foot of the 232-acre resort contains some form of recreational activity - 27 holes of golf, two lighted tennis courts, heated outdoor pool, volleyball, shuffleboard, and croquet. The hotel restaurant offers a daily a la carte breakfast, lunch, and dinner. For lighter fare, guests can try the Library Bar, the 19th Hole Grill, or the poolside Bar & Grill. Off-property activities include scuba diving, snorkeling, fishing, and boating along the Crystal River or on the Gulf of Mexico. The Crystal River has a year-round temperature of 72 degrees and is home to the largest concentration of manatees remaining in Florida.
